DAY 2: MYEONG-DONG

anyway, aside from my clubbing fail, we had a pretty good, fun, and productive day :D we went and explored the region of myeong-dong. prior to our subway/rail trip over there though, we left our hotel/apartment in the morning to find something to eat. it was a rainy morning with a bit of a drizzle ... a rainy day in fact, as we would later discover, so we packed our umbrellas. first place we went to was a coffee shop called joenill's. i got a yummy looking red bean shaved ice thing with corn flakes, watermelon, and ice cream, covered with condensed milk ...
after that, we went and explored a mall across the street from our place and then met up with billy blood for lunch at 7th street pizza for our first korean pizza experience lol. had a sweet potato pizza with a sweet stuffed crust and a large bulgogi pizza with a cheese stuffed crust. here's a photo of the former:

then it was off to myeong-dong for some more exploring and shopping!
annnnnd i'm just gonna skip to what we ate there:

foodstagram spamming much? yeah, get used to it. this photo pretty much encapsulates all our dining experiences. we americans can't eat anything without taking a picture of it first! we have a mobile wifi "egg" thing that we carry with us so that we can instagram anywhere x) here are a couple more photos i took on our way back to hongdae. been playing around with some of my camera effects.

here are also a couple different versions of the view outside of our apt window:

back home, we decided to go and check out a spa that amy went to the first day she was here (before me, ron, and david arrived). now this place was an adventure. never been to a spa before. couldn't take any photos in there so you're gonna have to use your imagination. but just picture me, ron, and billy naked, swimming in a super hot pool of green tea, scrubbing each other down hahaha. there was a common area too with a bunch of different sauna's that varied in temperature from crazy oven hot to refrigerator cold. there was also a small arcade, a gym, a cafeteria, and "sleeping rooms" ... for sleeping. never sweat so much in my life. felt super squeaky clean after.
